Taking inspiration from our fashionable and well-traveled client, our mission was to create a harmonious relationship between the existing exterior elements of this lake home and infuse this color palette into the newly renovated foyer, staircase, upstairs hallway, guest bathroom, and primary suite to create a connection from the outdoors into this home.

Wood stain finishes for the custom bath vanities, custom closet systems, and newly added furnishings as well as shades of brown paint treatments to the metal staircase rails, coat closet doors, and other accents add a handsome grounding richness and warmth. Menswear plaid was the method used to inhabit the foyer staircase carpet selection for a fresh effect mixed with our client’s collection of poppy bold art, photography, and mid-century modern essentials, new lighting fixtures, and additional accessories set the stage for a new welcoming area into the home.

The closet and primary suite take on a luxurious experience with amplified storage options and a thoughtfully reconfigured layout. Richly textured dark tiles pair with large formate ceramic tiles to create a moody sophisticated masculine bathroom and closet sanctuary. Additional highlights include heated tile floors throughout the bathroom and closet, automated window coverings, multi-directional down lighting and designer light fixtures above the double vanity sink area and the closet ceiling, new plumbing fixtures throughout, and marble stone platform sink vanity countertops. Demolition of the old jetted corner tub to reveal a contemporary freestanding soaking tub and a newly designed walk-in shower with glass surround and bench. Within the bedroom suite, a wood feature wall treatment was installed as well as a ceiling fixture, new paint throughout, updated commercial-grade carpeting, and door handle sets to name a few of the renovation details.
